Affiliate disclosure

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Some links on this site, including the links on the Recommended Gear page and in some blog posts, are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something on Amazon, Amazon pays me a small commission. You pay the same price you would otherwise. Using these links is entirely optional, and you can buy the same products anywhere you like.

I recommend gear based on what I use or what fits the setups I write about. Prices and availability are set by Amazon and change often, so I don’t list prices here. Check the current details on Amazon before you buy.

I also offer my own ebook, Home Assistant in a Weekend, as a free download (pay what you want optional). Downloads and any optional tips are handled by Payhip, my store provider.

Privacy

What this site collects: this site doesn’t use cookies, analytics, ads, or tracking scripts of its own, and it doesn’t ask you for any personal information.

Hosting: the site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic technical data (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.

Amazon links: when you click a link to Amazon, you leave this site. Amazon may use cookies to know that you came from here, so the purchase can be credited. Amazon’s own privacy notice covers what happens there.

Downloading the ebook: the free download (and any optional tip) happens on Payhip, which handles delivery and payment under its own privacy policy. I receive the order details Payhip provides to sellers (such as your name and email address) so I can deliver the product and help with support.
